FM-2/FM-3 Renewal Date Change


Anyone have (a successful) experience in changing the renewal date of their FM-2/FM-3?????

I would guess that "pulling teeth" would be part of the process.

We changed my wife's "date" on her FM3 a few years ago in Loreto...
Done with a smile and a hand shake at the office... No problem at the time..:cool:

We changed our FM3 renewal date, which was originally late December. To do it we had to renew on our normal date, but at that time we specified a change to a new renewal date in July. The FM-3's were issued at the end of December with an expiration date of July 1. We still had to pay for a full year renewal, even though we only had about 6 months before the visas had to be renewed again. In July we renewed again, now we're on a more workable schedule.

That is the same process that I was told at the Santa Rosalita office several years back. Ended up not doing it but at least the information seems the same. Jim

For the info.

Our renewal date is in May, want to move it back to March. I will check with our agent in a couple of weeks.
