800 numbers


Is there any way to dial 1-800 numbers in the U.S. from Baja Sur?? Need to contact some people and that is the only number I have. Thanks!!

Try this:

First dial 00-1 and if dialing an 800 # you have to replace 800 with 880.

866 replace with 883
877 replace with 882
888 replace with 881

These calls are not really toll free, you will pay around 50 cents/minute for the privilege of being able to access these services.

Or Google "800 number from Mexico" for more information. As I remember those toll free type of numbers work just fine on Skype also. Jim

If you have Internet access, you can call using Skype without altering the number. Also much cheaper.
