Sharing Baja Tomatoes

We don't have a lot right now, but lots of new seedlings----

I guess he will be waiting to share more of this year's crop.

Diana...

Have you ever heard this tip for storing tomatoes?

When storing them. store with the stem side down. Apparently it keeps the air from entering them as easily and makes them last longer.

I got the tip from the 'America's Test Kitchen' newsletter. I've tried it and it really does seem to prolong their freshness and appearance. I store them on layered paper towels in a flat bottom plastic basket.

Nomad Amigos...Here\'s hoping you all have safe Baja travels, amazing sunrises, sunny days, comforting breezes, beautiful sunsets, tasty tacos, cold cervezas and frosty margaritas!!
