Bunueos in Baja?
While getting caught up on Rolly's site I ran across the page on bunuelos here. I don't recall seeing these before - is there a place in Baja that makes these?

I've seen them in the Panaderias.....and restaurants on occasion. Not so rare.

Sopapillos
I grew up eating them. Tex-Mex restaurants throughout the mid-west serve them as a desert item. I would think they are typical to north-central
Mexico. Like churros, they really have to be fried fresh to be good. Dusted with confectioners sugar or served with honey. I've never seen them in
Baja. Fairly easy to make, though.

someone in our SD office many years ago said she wanted to go to, or something about bunuelos.
i thought she was talking about some mexican strippers doing the limbo.

Desert, mostly. But I've also been to restaurants in the Southwest where they serve them instead of chips or pan.
