UPDATE - Highway south of Ensenada after latest storm


Heading north today I was dreading the stretch of highway north of Santo Tomas with all the construction going on. I was pleasantly surprised to find the conditions not too bad - loose rocks were more of a hazard than potholes...

Heading back down I was pleased to see that they have laid down more roadbase and have crews working to patch potholes and grade the unfinished portions of the road. Should be no problem for RV's or trailers this Christmas.

Unless of course it rains again...
