Thanks David. My tires go down to 18 as soon as I get off pavement. I can`t figure out why people are so worried about letting air out of their tires
on dirt roads. It`s feels like driving on down pillows.

Since you are going the Cortez route....
Puertocitos gas station is opened for business now. I would top off your tanks at that point. If the station is closed (it is from 2 to 4), go to the
rear of the building and see if the employee is there, he will help you.........or go to the Puertocitos campground and ask for someone to such as
Clara to open the station. Puertocitos campground is a block away.
The road is fine. It's a superior road to take .....due to the fantastic views and and rustic feel of Baja.
Take a day to stay at Gonzaga Bay. Good campgrounds, great motel and restaurant...and a gas station that is there.....but at times has no gas. Few
times. The same applies here...go around the back and find the attendant.
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
