Attack of the Costa's Hummingbird

I guess we're just lucky they aren't a lot bigger.

What a great shot! I've been trying to get any shot of a hummingbird and they are so quick! So how did you do that?

Amazing shot, just beautiful! You can imagine why the Aztec claim the Hummingbird to be a Warrior returned.

Absolutely AMAZING!

Fantastic.....I love the color and am very partial to Hummingbirds. My youngest son found one in the creek near our house when he was six and wouldn't stop crying until I gave it mouth to beek and made him breathe. He named it Hearskipper and it lived in a cage at our house, eating from an eye dropper. Eventually (about 3 weeks) he died and we buried him near the creek. We have never forgotten the experience and blessing and we use the name heartskipper from time to time.
