What an incredible shot!!!! To me the most amazing thing is the Colorado River delta--------it's HUGE!!!! It appears to me to be the dark "fan" that
is just above the north end of the SOC between the Salton Sea and the Gulf and has the white sands of the dunes complexes on either side. You also
can see the Grand Canyon, tho not very clearly, and the 'green' of the Imperial Valley ag area shows up clearly just above the Colorado River delta
"fan".
Boy, would I love to have a blownup version of that pic!!!!

Me too. Usually means the link is incorrect - no image at the address. Did anybody get the download link to work?
BajaNomad's link doesn't work for me either.

Wow , great picture.
Must have been some serious high pressure that day. Looks like a sandstorm from Kino bay on the mainland to a hundred miles offshore of Bahia

That image is partially corrupted sometimes, I downloaded it and photoshopped it ok, but then could not open it a second time. They will probably fix
that.
I had saved one cropped version:

That is quite the dust plume ripping off the mainland, it was a dusty day from Santa Rosalia across to Tortugas.

Thanks so much for the link pacocruz.
We happened to snap a picture that day while passing through the area marked by the arrow. And I whine that I'm always cleaning cuz it's 'dirty' where
we are...
