Tijuana airpoprt / bargain flights

As long as we are talking flights. Are there any exceptional air fare deals out of TJ? I mean if a bored person just wanted a bargain air fair as a cure for boredom where is a good place to look for one?

I'm sure you know the airline Volaris out of TJ,
have seen rt's to La Paz $78, to Acapulco rt $128,
these fares pop up then are gone

Volaris, through their website or through Southwest Airlines website (they code-share).

Do you sign up on a Volaris list, or just check their web page each day?

That brings up an interesting point in that since Southwest recently acquired AirTran, which already had flights mostly from the Southeast to Mexico, and have announced upcoming flights from John Wayne (Orange County, CA) to Cabo, if they will continue to code share with Volaris.

Check their page. They release new specials all the time. They have offered some dirt cheap flights. They're home based in GDL and usually have some really good fares from TIJ --> GDL.

The fares they offer around the holidays can be really low, but you've got to jump on them because they don't last. They also offer cheap fares for travel on flights booked well in advance. You also need to be aware that they have also been known to cancel flights and to change flight times on flights that were booked months in advance.
