Salty Wind Survivors

in our back yard

So many plants will not survive, so we really appreciate the ones that will.

Wow! Vibrant colors. ;D

How pretty. Every time we get a north wind our citrus lose half their leaves. These pictures are really nice and I appreciate what it takes to get these flowers to this level.

Love the geranium Diane!

Back in the day in Mexico you'd see geraniums planted in the gallon-size MJB and Folgers coffee cans.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I really appreciate them. Nancy, I think that the geranium is my favorite.

This bouganvillea is doing very well --- a gopher managed to eat all the roots of a white one I really loved. Mr. gopher is now taking a dirt nap!

Diver, you can have cuttings from anything in our yard you want! We have done all the research for you and know definitely what will NOT grow at your place. :-)

Thanks again!

Thanks Ken and Igor. You are both very kind.

As Ralph mentioned, it is not easy to get them to grow and then I have to argue with them to hold still long enough to take their pictures.
