Harald posts (every once in a while) here. I met him a few years ago In Bahia - he's a good friend of Mia's. Good guy, as long as you can get past his
German precision (just kidding Harald, hope you're doing ok).
He has a lot of experience in the field, that's for sure.
Seriously, I'll teach you anything you like. Hands on in Baja (don't worry, you'll be scratching one of my vehicles) or the toughest trail on the
planet (the mighty Rubicon Trail) - I am ready.
Most importantly, you'll learn to eliminate vehicle failure and still drive where others turn around.
Need something for "mission impossible"? I train those guys, so you are in good hands.
Thanks all. The reason I asked is that my experience is from running around Baja in a 4x4 for the last 25 years. I have found very few places where I
thought 4 wheel drive was necessary, usually sand and some rocky places. Recently I have been doing more and more off trips to Death Valley and the
mountains and deserts getting over there. Frankly the terrain is more diffficult than what most of Baja offers, not that Baja doesn't have some rough
stuff. Anyway the 4x4 training I posted is done close by in the OHV area off I-5 at Gorman. I was thinking of giving it a try and see if I can learn
something I don't know or I can get better at.
