A Beautiful Happening
The New Women's Section of Costa Salvaje Bahia Asuncion had a meeting this morning and then took the entire primary school on a walk around the town.
They are really working on educating the children about the environment and have several projects started and planned --- trash removal and they are
collecting old batteries to dispose of them properly and more.
Here are the Primary Students----it is such a beautiful thing to see.
And of course, some of the kids like to ham it up. :-)
And Jisreal is always ready to head for the front and make sure his picture is taken.
Kudos to our good friends, the local Reserve Rep, his wife and many others for continuing to promote these organizations and projects.

America looked like Baja before Ladybird started Beautify America. It's good to see that your town is teaching to make a difference in the next
generation.
Thank you for the positive post.MMc

Thank you and glad you all appreciate what is happening --- and yes, the kids are beautiful and have happy faces.
Wildcoast---yes! Tundra, no mas.
And I sure did not appreciate what Lady Bird Johnson was doing until much later. Other things distracted our attention at the time, but now I look
back to her with a big THANK YOU.

Awesome Diana!! Yup Costa Salvaje does great work up here too, going to the different schools doing public events in the Sierra Juarez and here in SPM
together with projecto Condor.
Education of the young about the importance of the environment (and their part in it!) is certainly hugely important work!

The Costa Salvaje group is out on another project today---a trash clean-up project. I was going to join them today, but the results from a not so
good taco eaten in Vizcaino has left me rather shaky!
It is great to see the adults involved, and even better to see the children involved.
Redmesa, I will ask about that album and journal idea.
