Ideas for a Rustico Window awning with Wood and Tile
I want to build some awnings to cover my windows in San Felipe. I would like to use large timber style wood, probably cedar, with a Spanish
influence.
If anyone has any photos or plans that they have used, I would love to see them.
I have some ideas of how I want to do it, but want to see some more ideas.
The internet didn't really give me that much in the way of photos.

We used an awning that closed and secured the opening when we were gone. The new composite mission tile panels might make that an option for your
design.

Loreto Bay (not looking too bad these days!) version........
And here is our architect Jesus Cortes' version on the neighbor's house...

I may do the awnings too on our place......good idea.
I did however build wood shutters for each window......this keeps the hot sun out in the afternoons......and to add a little security when we are not
"home'.
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
