Vulture visit

It came for a drink and really wasn't very efitient at scooping up water. I had a the opportunity to catch the act but today I totally missed it. Well, there is one shot right after but the splash it made as it did the scoop was cool. Maybe next time.

OMG---I LOVE those pictures of one of my favorite birds---what a GREAT series of photos! I love the water running down the front.

They are such beautiful and efficient creatures. They do their job so well.

From what I have read, they get most of their water needs from their food, but they will drink water once in a while---I am sure someone knows more about their habits.

Meantime, again, I LOVE those photos and I look forward to the splash pix next time. Great work Russ!
