I am blaming Tijuana roads

After about 9 years, I decided it was finally time to have my King coil overs rebuilt (probably about 4 years to late). Once they got it up on the lift. The mechanic sent me this VIDEO.

The heim joints had worked their way INTO the the aluminum shock ends. I also replaced the A-arm bushings, the upper ball joint, replaced the steering rack and threw some Bilstein 5125's out back. Just have to do the brakes and I am ready for a good baja trip!

I am not sure I understand that question.

what i meant was, how did you realize your suspension was shot all of a sudden? seems like that kind of worn out ball joints, bushings, etc... doesn't happen overnight.

it was kinda tongue in cheek.....

I swear I went back and edited that post. After I re-read it, it made sense. (it was 6am after all)

So I new the King coil overs needed to be rebuilt and the shocks in back where done. I have 35" tires so the steering rack was not a surprise. The torn up shock ends and ball joints were unexpected. The bushing squeaked like hell. Thank god that has been fixed.
