This Porsche tackles Baja!
No trick photography...This Porsche tackled a Jeep run, and I wonder if it could handle Baja just as competently?
The driver and his passenger get out of the vehicle to move some sand before getting back inside.
Jeepers getting outside of their vehicles...curious.
It made it up the sand hill climb!
Off-camber section of trail...will the Porsche make it??
Tight hair-pin turn
Close to flipping on its side
Plenty of clearance underneath this spirited superSUV!
The Porsche completed the Tierra Del Sol run without incident in front of 50 Jeeps!
Last hillclimb...

Wow, The 500hp, 100K Porsche Cayenne Turbo somewhere other then a paved road and valet parking.
Does that mean that your run wasnt that difficult? Its still just a small SUV with regular tires and basic ground clearance.

This was not a difficult run. The driver and his wife had fun, though.

I was thinking the same thing, just in an old Legacy. I guess it's hard for me to wrap my head around spending that much money on something that may

No, before the Legacy model... 1977-1987 when Subaru made 4WD wagons, the BRAT and sedans with shift-on-the-fly from front wheel drive to four wheel
drive.
Subaru went to All Wheel Drive street cars without low range or height adjustment of the earlier models. I had three Subarus before they went to
AWD... here is my first:

I use to take my 1972 Ford Pinto into Kennedy's camp off the road to La Bufadora and the Jeep people thought I was nuts. It was a very bad road then.
Never a problem going in or out.

They do have an pneumatic suspension option that provides over 10" ground clearance.
