TODAY ON THE BEACH IN CONCEPTION BAY-APRIL 19TH & 22ND

This is a little road trip I took the other day in Conception Bay. Naturally, I had a camera with me...and this is the result:

WELCOME TO THE BAY OF CONCEPTION BEACHES....'Where the neon goes to die.'

If you are planning a camping trip to Conception Bay...The following photos show what these popular camping beaches looked like yesterday, April 19, 2012 in Coyote Bay.....with a little commentary and a couple unavoidable detours...

There seems to be plenty of room for you!

- Santispac
- Coco
- Burros
- Coyote
- Requeson & Perla

SANTISPAC

PLAYA COCOS

PLAYA BURROS

PLAYA COYOTE

PLAYAS REQUESON & PERLA

PLAYA PERLA

Flashback photo: 1974 Clamming at Requeson…and it hasn’t changed much in the last 38 years.

Those pictures don't begin to touch the reality of what it is like being here. I was fortunate to move here before the earth cooled..and it still amazes me to this day.

If just kicking back on the beach, like mi amigo above, is not enough...there are plenty of other fun things to do on a beach.

..and of course, things can get quite hilarious on the beach:

"Don't grow up too quickly, lest you forget how much you love the beach."

Conception Bay....It's a MUST SEE YOURSELF adventure!

That's about right, Marc.

Several long-term campers I know have already bugged out for their northern homes and summer adventures. A lot of them camp in the BOC from October to April/May. One month from now, there will be very, very few full-timers camping here in thier rigs.

Too hot in the Bay!.. for most snowbirds!

Am taking a drive to Loreto airport and back today...and will try to post some more beach photos from Playas Buenaventure, Requeson, Perla, Armenta, and the south beach & clamming area.

Great photo tour!

What is that new "semi-permanent" looking white building at Santispac? Are the year-round leases starting again?
