I've got to agree with Bajarunner, too. I hate the painted grafitti on the rocks near Catavina, (and in the US, too.)

But, if the artist had just used red paint or just scratched it into the wall of a pristine cliff overhang with another rock or a chisel, would we pay money to have a guide show it to us a couple thousand years from now?????? :?:

And another thought.... Anybody ever think that some of the newly found "rupestres" are modern day imitations or fakes put there for today's tourists? We saw a cave painting last year that was "in an incredible state of preservation with very vibrant colors....." :?:

And, I must say, I do like the alligator!

The one I posted was along Hwy. 3 between Ensenada and Ojos Negros.... Yah, pretty cool gator!
