I just got back from a run up to Williams all I caught was a runny nose,lake was down at least 20' and the wind blue,so much for the start of the season.

Now its your turn know I could have done better down there:lol: how is the finder working out?

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.

stand by. got home last night and i gotta side job today thru sun. i'll get to it asap.

it was perfect conditions. we caught all of the 3-5# spotted bass and blancos and even a BIG trigger using squid. trolling produced nada. pics to follow.

Love the view from your porch,water was to warm Robert,all that bait sounds good,and June does to,make sure you bring four batteries next time.

You mentioned that there was lots of bait. Usually there is some gamefish in their midst. Not even a sierra?

When bait like that is nearshore there are always fish below. Halibut. Large groupers.

Did you work these areas hard?

yes we tried but nothing was there that i saw. even the birds were not too interested. musta been stuffed already.
