Road to San Francisquito?


Hey all,

Just received this question on my Facebook acount. Can anyone give me the latest update?

"Sweet I love Baja interested to know about road to Bahia San Francisquito from El Arco, is it open? How long of a drive from El Arco to Mission Santa Gertrudis?"

About 23 miles, to the mission from El Arco.

I have friends who just did that trip on quads, no problems. Great washboard. There was a lot of damage from the earthquake at San Fransisquito.

I must have missed the memo....What earthquake ????

The termites and wind caused all the damage in the past...

Ted, if your friends are continuing south or coming north, to get to Mision Santa Gertrudis and San Francisquito, there is an excellent shortcut for just north of Vizcaino, by way of Guillermo Prieto... 2WD friendly (dry weather):
