Chiapas Champeche Yucatan tabasco Zona De Maya

Some folks are going to want to fly down to Zona DE Maya next December. We are going to need some scouts to report a few things.
Public transportation
Are all the ruins availabl by bus?

Road conditions
Are the roads hard pack or soft sand?
2wd/4wd?

New calender
I get a new one each year
How do we get a new 5,000 year calender

Yes, public bus, collectives and tours go to most all major ruins...
Although not much bus action for the Rio Bec Ruins, for example Calakmul is 60K off the main highway = no buses

All roads are paved, secondary roads are usually in better condition than Baja Highway 1...

You do not need a new calendar, on Dec. 21, 2012 the old calendar ends and starts the 5000 year cycle all over again.....

Most hotels in the Yucatan Peninsula are already booked for December 2012,
hope yours are............
