I feel for you Chuckie!
I had some medical worries that I rushed up to have checked out. Went through the ER at the VA in Long Beach on Friday morning and by noon I had great news. NOT the big "C". So as long as I'm up here I'll do some shopping and enjoy family.
I'm bummed I'm missing the fun during Punta Chivato's Bulls Only Dorado Tourney. Hoping to hear some reports of all the festivities soon and of course a fish report too. Hint!

Hay Russ,
Happy to hear it was not the big "C".
ER at the VA in Long Beach, was your attending doctor at the ER a "Dr. Miller?"
Good Friend of mine here in Glendale, Ca. Jeff is a great guy with a real sense of humor.
Glad you are having a chance to visit with family.
Best
G

Actually it was in a construction area I was doing maybe 30, slight bump, then BIG sharp hole...I am in Rangeley Colorado now, we put it on the hoist..Shock is broken in half, rear axle was out of alignment...Gonna limp on home. Very dangerous, if you hit 2 big bumps in a row, you get severe wheel hop, which wont stop until the truck is almost stopped. And since its on the left side truck gets sideways...Ordered all new Ranchos, should be at the ranch when I get there..Very stressful, gotta DRIVE it every second...

We returned from a trip NOB a couple weeks ago. On the way north, for the first time ever, I was asked at three checkpoints for my passport, two of them actually asked for immigration paperwork also. Never seen them ask for those documents before. They copied the info onto a clipboard.

On the way back south, also for the first time ever, we were asked for immigration paperwork at Guerrero Negro. Lady said that they were going to be checking on a regular basis now. Going south we were waved through all the army checkpoints.

those of you who want to apply for citizenship here in Mexico, remember to keep detailed information on when you travel out of the country. vital if you are traveling by plane where there is a track record. the amount of time spent out of the country is limited the 2 years prior to applying.
