K38 Bar and Grill

Stopped by K38 Bar and Grill on Saturday, very good food and under new management...their home made tortilla soup is very delicious....The whole complex is having a grand re-opening on Saturday July 14th from 2PM - 7PM.

Yeah, which K-38? By the surf spot? I'm staying at Gaviotas later this month and will check out.

Have a neighbor at Las Gaviotas that says this place is good to eat at also. Have not tried it yet but they are also suppose to have Fast Passes there also. Will have to confirm also on this. Went once but they were closed and the store right next to it said they had been closed, however I was driving by the next day and it was open.

Just a note that I did find out that Rene's is being redone by the past owner's son. He has paid all the back taxes and got the employee monies paid off too I was told. Has anyone else heard this same information?? I hope it is so and I hope they put the good pool tables back in and some updating on the interior would definately be in order.LOL. Sorry I could have been more specific, its K38 just north of Las Gaviotas in Rosarito BCN. Bajafun is correct they do have fast passes available.

AND, then check out the small taco stand 20 yards north, amazing carna asada tacos, and yes it is small, just about 6 stools at an outside bar...but outstanding food..

It is a few yards from Hotel Las Rocas on the free road. If you go over the bridge you've gone to far....:P
