SENTRI Pass with a Sportsmobile

Curious if anyone out there has a SENTRI pass with their Sportsmobile, or thoughts whether it would be an issue. If you are unfamiliar with Sportsmobile, they can take many variations, but it is basically a full size van, with a pop up top, much like the old VW vans. Some have full kitchens, etc. inside. Mine just has the pop top, and a fridge.

I know you can't get a SENTRI pass with a camper, just not sure what the definition of a camper is to the US Govt.

Any opinions/first hand experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

At times they have asked if my popup "has a sink" (yes) ...off to secondary.

When you get to secondary they ask "Why are you here?"
Ans....I have a sink and they sent me here.

Inspectors have a WTH look ( what the he**) look on their face and go look at the sink. You are on your way in 30-45 minutes...no problem.

SJ, I appreciate the reply. So, I gather that you have a Sportsmobile with a pop-up, and you were able to obtain a SENTRI pass with it?

I have a lifted 2002 E350 15 passenger van. Sentri was no problem. Your van should still be registered as for e250 or 350??
They dont like it when its dirty and allways stop to look inside since i have limo tint over the factory privacy glass.
