Bloody decks

Went out today and got the deck of "Outcast" looking presentable....like a fishing boat ought to look....

Stopped by the lighthouse on the way home and managed to coax a fair sized rooster into the boat....

FYI, Mr. Clean dry shirt...
Use the soft side of a couple pieces of velcro and glue/sew them into your straw hat. No more rash:light:
Oh, nice Rooster! I love to tackle that with my curado.

Nice catch David!

p.s I agree about the dry shirt. I know it's hot and muggy right now in Buena Vista.

Looks like you changed shirts for the pose.

Yes, the boat has a very nice 1 ton insulated fish hold with a macerator pump. These guys were a quadruple hook up, that's the only reason they were all on the deck with all the mess. There were only 2 of us on the boat so as soon as we got the last fish in and subdued I took the picture, put the fish on ice and gave the hose and brush a work out.

Thanks for the velcro tip, if I sew the other half of the velcro to my head maybe that stupid hat will quit blowing off.

I managed to hook a rooster about this size on the lady fish that I was fighting with my Curado.....it didn't end well, he headed east and never slowed down all the way to the end of the spool....

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.

You're right about it being hot and muggy, I was sweating like a pig most of the day. I didn't put on a fresh shirt for the photo, perhaps the afternoon breeze helped. This could be a good advertisement for Colombia Sports Wear: Big fat guy fights big fat fish for 45 minutes in the middle of the Baja East Cape summer and is still "fresh as a daisy".:lol::lol:
