Does anyone know where to buy live geoduck clam in Ensenada, may be from the diver?
Anyone can show me where to buy a fishing license by the fishing dock near Mercado negro on Saturday?
Thanks.

Fishing License
You should be able to get a license at the office next to Mexican Immigration in Ensenada.
As soon as you enter town, before the fish market, there is a building with a lighthouse. That is the Tourist Information Center. Park in the lot
behind their office. You can walk to the fishing license office from there.

When we were in the area a couple of weeks ago, I bought geoducks at the same lobster house that bajaguy is talking about. The should have cases of
them at this time.
Plus they serve arguably the best lobster paired with wine in Baja. (They ask you how you would like your lobster prepared).

you sure they have geoducks in ensenda? true geoducks grow only in NW (WA and BC). maybe it's a geopigeon.
geoducks sell for a gazzillion dollars per kilo in asia, so perhaps the mexicans are "mislabeling" another large bivalve they find locally, eh?

There is no mislabeling or mistaking those clams.
When you go by the restaurant and seafood market, you will see the clams, ready to be shipped to far regions. Only a handful really stay locally.
