Leaving Sunday morning to do basically the same trip, a day or 2 in Bahia to unload stuff at the house and then over to the cooler side for some surf fishing for a week or so. Just got a call from a freind that is there now and the conditions look good up at El Cardon.

funny story. Sr Maclish pulled up when we were changing out a flat on the road north. my floor jack wasn't cutting it so he gave me his bottle jack and left. we proceeded up to Diablo where friends were camped and spent the day. on the way back to camp i stopped and returned the jack.

great guy!

Nice stuff Bob, I'm jealous as hell you are close enough to "pop" down!

Since I have to be stuck in the mountains, I'm eating my heart out in the most pleasant way possible! Harvesting two quarts a day recently. Big jam day soon!:lol:
