ensenada jail house

the oldest building in ensenada, a military barracks from 1886 and the city jailhouse until 1986.
I snapped this photo with my cellphone camera of a piece of artwork left behind in one of the tiny cells by an unfortunate detainee.
my guess was he stepped out of line either at anthony's or denny's, one block over!

I went down there years ago and visited one of the lesser lights of La Mision,
certainly not a place I would want to see from the inside.

My worthless ex-brother in law was in the carcel in Mascota, Jal., visited him and it was a pretty decent place.

One of my foster sons spent three days in three jails in TJ and those stories cannot be told on this forum.

Nice foto, willardguy.

Ensenada Jail was my favorite one nighter of all the Baja jails I stayed in, (40+ years ago).
