Woody, right click on the tool bar area, it should give you the options to show your fav tabs.

Ahhh, I see. FF 14 is buggy. You can reset by typing in "about :support" , w/o " in the address bar.
Here is one for you - Maybe you can help with this problem. When I right click , check spelling is checked and it saves and add ons any word I have
checked. So, I have a zillion variations of any word I spell ck and can't get rid of "spell check " box in the menu.

highlight the underlined word, rt clk and it shows in the rt clk menu, giving you choices of variations , guessing at what you wanted to type. Just clk the correct word. Not saved anywhere and should disappear after you choose a
word. Mine stays and keeps adding words. So, my rt clk menu is huge and I have to reset ff often to clear it.

How to edit your spelling dictionary in Firefox:
If you have used Firefox’s built in dictionary, you will know there is a limitation to it. Firefox allows you to easily add words to dictionary, but
lacks a user interface for removing words. This can be a problem since the “Add to dictionary” button is directly under the corrected words, providing
easy access for adding misspelled words to the dictionary.
Since I frequently add misspelled words, I had to learn the method for removing these words. To remove misspelled words, first close down Firefox then
navigate to your profile folder. The folder’s location varies depending on your operating system:
Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\
Windows Vista
C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\
Mac OS X
~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default/
Linux
~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/
Once in your profile folder, look for a file named persdict.dat, and open it with your favorite text editor. Inside you’ll find all of your custom
defined words, each on their own line. Just delete the words which don’t belong and save. Firefox will no longer incorrectly identify those misspelled
words as correct.
Edited to say: I didn't write this, I just copy and pasted it.

Try to find the file: persdict.dat on your computer. You can do this using Windows Explorer - you should have that file on your computer - look under
all programs - accessories. Once open, click on the Seach option at the top. Search by file name and put in that file (persdict.dat) then choose to
search your C: drive. When it comes up, double click the file to open it. If it asks you to use what program, choose Notepad then delete the
misspelled words and save it.
Try that.
To unclick the check spelling - go to firefox - tools - options- advanced - then click on the "General" tab and you can unclick it there.

Thanks, as above, I did a search for that file, no joy.
C:\users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[unique-alphanumeric-string].default\persdict.dat and "start">search
It is saving any and all words that I highlight, not words added to dictionary, which I don't use. Oh well, thanks for trying. I'll keep resetting FF.
not baja related, so we should move to u2u if you have any ideas
Thanks!
