Update on road conditions loreto to San Ignacio

Does anyone has any more road information? Driving back to the states today with my son while my wife flies back today. She is a bit worried that the roads will be closed. Came fromz San Janice yesteday and there were several rock slides and the road into villa del palmar was totally washed out. The hotel is inaccessible.

Someone posted yesterday about the road being out between Mulege and Santa Rosalia. We still have rain here in San Jose so it must be coming your way. I would wait.

If you have to go, take it slowly. Almost all of the vados are full and flowing. On the first vado coming from Palo Verde before the bridges, the road was closed for awhile, but they got a bucket loader in there and got it opened, however there were several cars who hit it too fast and flooded their engines. I suspect it will be that way clear to Vizcaino. It is raining hard again this morning and that will increase the runoff because everything is already saturated.
