Gonzaga plans changed, too hot. Going Sept. 2nd

It's just too damn hot right now. Leaving Sept. 2nd for Gonzaga. Looking for caravans or a rider. I was going to leave Mon., Aug. 20th. Hopefully it will be cooler by then. I know it can't be any hotter!

Sure it can be. It's Sept. Heat doesn't break until October.

TOTALLY agree, Mike. Mid-Oct, or even a little later-----it's heaven then on the SOC side.

Ironically,Sept. 2nd is the bullseye date (or within a day or 2) of the last three worst in history hurricanes and floods. October is still officially within the hurricane season, but not likely to occur. Middle of October is when it begins to cool off somewhat.

Because I have to check this place out that is for sale so I don't miss my chance to get it. I'll take some hurricane weather if I have to. Like I said it won't be any hotter than it is now. I just got back from Colorado and worked for three days straight and would only have today to pack it all up. Too much of a rush and with the current heat, I'll wait until Sept. 2nd and see what conditions are like. It's only a four day trip. Thanks everyone.

Go for it, Brewer. Be sure to check the weather report online just before you go. Good Luck with the property.

Thanks guys, I'll check the weather and probably have a rider or convoy by then. Wish me luck on the property and you can come visit! Peace.
