If you ever have to seperate an egg this is the way it's done by the Chinese here in Baja. Video is not in English or Spanish but you get the procedure:

Willard Dude.....
Instead of tapping the egg shell on a corner or edge of something,
Give one good sharp rap against counter top or other flat surface.
Keeps the yolk whole and also keeps bits of shell from getting into the cracked egg.

WOW, those are both amazing. One so obviously a cool idea, and the other which remains "wrapped" in a bit of magic. I didn't try the egg, but I had a dryer full of tee shirts. How absolutely cool, the five year old got it down in a couple minutes...me too.:lol:
