pressure booster water tank?
does anyone know where in san quitnin, or ensenada i can buy a pressure water tank, or where i can repair the one i have? the pumps good. even a
used tank. picture of what mine looks like. i was told about this yesterday, i'm heading down to socorro this friday with pops.

I got my pressure tank at Home Depot. If there's one in Ensenada they might have one, or can order you one.

They have them in just about any hardware in Ensenada I found one at a Pacifico hardware.

The pressure tanks are also called bladder tanks for the rubber bladder inside. Don't buy a used one because the bladder degrades first and you can't
buy just a replacement bladder these days. You know the bladder is going bad from the sulfur smell you get in the water.
Just about all hardware stores carry them. Home Depot carries a brand I'm not familier with plus it costs abouit twice as much as the Flotec ones we
usually see.

I am not sure the sulfur smell has anything to do with the condition of the bladder. I installed a pressure tank and pump in the house we built in
Tijuana but we almost always had water service so hardly ever used it. Whenever we did, we always had the sulfur smell until I ran water through the
pressure tank for several minutes and then it would go away. This happened within months of installing the tank in 1994 and as far as I know it is
still working. Putting some Clorox in the cistern and running the pump a few minutes every month helped.

I had no problem ordering a bladder for my tank in Santa Rosalia and they are readily available in the US.
