Captain, did you try Google? I just dialed "Clima San Jose 2012" and got this:
http://www.tutiempo.net/clima/San_Jose/08-2012/786470.htm
21 rainy days was in August. Click on the month for pull-down menu for other month of this year.

So Baja rain Totals
Go to weather underground, click on weather stations, personal weather stations - right side of page scroll down to Mexico - takes you to list of
personal weather stations, scroll down to one you like, click on yearly totals.
Looks like the southern tip area has received between 8 and 11 inches of rain this year.

I've got a good weather gauge and it shows we got just under 5 inches from Miriam and Norman who came down arm in arm. We lost power Wed and just got
it back this morning at 12:30.
That's too much for our little village considering we get about 3.5 inches a year. The CFE has been working here day and night putting in new poles,
installing new transformers, new wire.

It shows inches. Here is the site:
http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.as...
BTW the last one shows 35.50 in, which means we got almost 1/2 inch yesterday?
