Hi jbcoug,

Once you are in downtown San Jose, drive all the way to Puerto Los Cabos Marina. You will see a sign "East Cape" drive straight all the coast (dirt road maintained). Drive around 20 miles north the coast.

Are you familiar with this area? let me know if you need a google map link.

TomasG,

Thanks, I am familiar with the route. I made the loop up the coast to La Ribera and back down the highway this past spring twice. Saw surfers a number of places but wasn't familiar with the name. I'm not a surfer, but I enjoy a beautiful setting. Next trip I'll look more closely. Thanks again.

John

Could you reach that spot in a Toyota motorhome with its low ground clearance and boondock there for a while for free?
