When Ever anyone Dies unnessarily it's not good. But when anyone that chooses a job that put's them in harms way it's a real possibility and goes with
the territory For a civil servant who Kills a unarmed person for any reason it's wrong.

I agree... and the same goes for people who knowingly associate with drug dealers. They deliberately put themselves in harm's way.
If by "unarmed", you're referring to the shooting victim in Chula Vista, I believe an automobile is considered a deadly weapon in several capacities.
Just sayin'... you can't have it both ways.

Yes a automobile could be considered a deadly weapon. if it was aimad at anyone if it was trying to leave maybe not.

The part that scares me is there is to many different law divisions you have to deal with it used to be pretty clear cut State, County and City. But
with this Homeland Security B.S. they seem to have no Limits.

Bob, those agencies existed BEFORE 9-11 and before the DHS was established. All the enabling legislation did was to consolidate various existing
federal agencies under the DHS umbrella.

It is very scary. I have never been more afraid of U.S. law enforcement in all it's forms than I am today.
And unfortunately Department of Homeland Security are becoming ever more entrenched in an "us against them" attitude. And the scary thing...we
citizens are "them".

US Customs service was renamed Customs and Border Protection, they wear dark blue uniforms and their shoulder patch/federal seal says "Department of
Homeland Security - Customs and Border Protection"............the Border patrol is also under the "Homeland Security Umbrella"

They obviously didn't since the FBI investigators now say these agents shot each other. But Mexico is quite accommodating finding a couple of
fall-guys.
