picking up pedestrians on TJ side

Hoping one of you brilliant nomads can help me out.
We have friends coming down next week but do not want to drive, so I am offering to pick them up in TJ. With all the changes can anyone give me a good meeting place with as much detail for both the pedestrians and I. I have not even seen the new pedestrian bridge yet. I am going to have them to take the trolley to the border.
Thanks
Lori
