HughesNet Gen 4 in Baja

Does anyone know the details of HN Gen 45 in Baja Norte? Will it work here? Will it require a new dish?....they advertise "free installation" but I don't think they are ready to dispatch an installer about 100 miles to Gonzaga Bay...etc.

Any input would be appreciated.

BB I looked into this since the performance is far better than existing Starband and HN systems, but the net gen 4 uses narrow spot-beam technology with very sharp signal cutoffs, so sadly no it won't extend very far SOB. Maybe it would work in Rosarito and areas north...

The So Cal Gen4 spot-beam has coverage to somewhere south of Ensenada but that's about it. Locations near the US border can get coverage if they have a US address and a dealer willing to work with them.

All of those special offers apply to New Ka-band Gen4 and 9000 systems sold and installed with a US address by HughesNet authorized retailers and installers.

The only HN service still working throughout BCN and BCS is the 7000 Ku-band service.
