Punta Chivato Road Status Added photobucket URL new & old roads Saturday

Yesterday the grader got stuck trying to blaze a trail around the sink hole that was the road just past the estuary towards Palo Verde.

The grader had fixed most of the road from the almacen to just past the estuary.

This hole is what was the road.

edit: Kinda forgot to tell ya about what is happening today.
After I left Gorge came in with his loader and got the grader out. He's now trying to repair the "road" where it got stuck. He is confidant that the road will be passable by this afternoon.
After I checked out the road I thought I'd run up the arroyo and see how that did. That was just fine untill I turned around and followed my pathe out and slid into a mud lake. OOPS! Calle for help on the portable VHF and had a lot of people come out on their quads, some with wenches and they put it all together and yanked me out.

That's great of you to share Russ.. very humbling indeed. We all get stuck (well I haven't yet with my 2010 Tacoma, but I keep trying)!

Does your little car have 4WD or just 2WD?

Yes 4x4. It's a 2012 Polaris Ranger made for hard going. I just slid off into the deep slick mud. I'm shopping for a winch.

Most of these shots were with the GoPro set for a pic every 30 seconds.
