Oops on squid report

Could have sworn my neighbor said "They are paying 40 pesos a kilo for the big squid".

Turns out they are paying 4 PESOS. So when I perceived they were making a killing catching the big Humboldts, I was steering you to the wrong conclusion.

Turns out the squid are nearer Los Barriles, are 10 to 20 pounders, they have to remove the guts, eyes, beak before weighing and all in all they have to fill their pangas working all night just to make gas money. Nooooo bueno.

My bad.

4 Pesos for bodies and tentacles is a good price. With the Asian control in Santa Rosalia, they usually pay about 2 but with the shortage, they are paying more to get the fishermen out. Thank goodness the mine is hiring a lot of those squid fishermen.

You must have caught the error. You thought I couldn't count. I can count, I just can't hear.
