Mood: Excited for November!

Ensenada/San Felipe/Cabo ~Nov - ~Feb

Hey all. Lookin to move down for a couple months. Will be working on my business on my computer. Definitely need AC and Internet, and hot water would be a big plus.

EDITED PER REQUEST BELOW

I'd like to spend no more than $3500 Mex per month, I'd be down for about three months, should be furnished, I'm super quiet, super cool, I'll pretty much be working on my web site, but definitely down to tie one on here and there.

Let me know!

You listed three very different locations... nearly 1000 miles apart between two of them... It would help in such a big place, to let the Nomads know what you want if you don't care where you want to be...

yes that would really help, and I doubt very much if you would need AC in Ensenada or San felipe this time of the year... and I would imagine Ensenada would be your best bet for an apartment for the short term

That's 270 dollars at today's exchange. You won't be luxuriating too much for that price and you should forget DSL unless you pay for it yourself.
Maybe you'll find something in the Beach Camps....Todos Santos in Ensenada or La Joya out here in Punta Banda, but 270 won't get you much.
Do you own a tent?

BY the way....Rancho Todos Santos, mentioned above, is a White Mans ghetto, but they do have a bar.

Yes Yes.. I'm not trying to luxuriate, but I'm not going to sleep in my tent this time round. I've already had many offers and negotiations, and I'm setting myself up so I can take a look at a couple places when I get down there. Thank you for the warnings everyone; I completely understand if there's nothing available via this board.

Now, are there any offers?

Where

You still have not specified a location.

Cabo is about 1000 miles SOUTH of Ensenada/San Feliepe.

Doubt you will find anything for your price range in Cabo.

San Feliepe might be doable, but it's about 3 hours +/- from the US border. Depending on what you might find, internet will be iffy.

Ensenada is about 1 1/2 hours from the US border, could PROBABLY find something in your price range, but the location might not be desirable for a gringo. Internet available in most areas.

Check the classifieds on Ensenada.net:

and subscribe to the Punta Banda Newsletter:

Have you ever been to Baja and the locations in question???

I don't understand, I have specified the location: Cabo, San Felipe, or Ensenada. I am working from home, so it doesn't matter where I am. You guys are over thinking it ;)

I am familiar with Baja, I have spent a lot of time there with friends and alone. I have friends in Cabo, La Paz, Bahia de Tortugas, Bay of LA. Most of what I have found in that range has been in Cabo.

Thanks for the hit on Ensenada; it's been tough to find places there. I imagine I'll just have to go down and hunt around, but I'll probably end up in Cabo or La Paz because of the availability of places.
