Mexicali and TIP on a Sunday

Annex? There is the original downtown border, next to Calexico, end of Hwy. 111. Then there is the newer (from about 2000) Mexicali East crossing, about 10 miles east of Calexico. I believe they both have all facilities with Mexicali East being more for commercial use and maybe better if you are declaring household items for your move south... However, I have no personal experience other than using both to cross the border and I prefer the downtown one because it is 10 miles closer to San Diego, where I am going/ coming from.

Just give them a call and see what they mean by the word Annex... however, since Mexicali East is the new kid on the block, it would probably be that one?
