David, I just discovered a place where I can learn all that stuff about The Feathered Serpent: google.
Sooooo I guess now I won't have to read many of your non map/missions posts if I can just remember that.
A question. Doesn't it follow that if we have internet we have search engines?
You do so much for this board -- why do you bother to expound on things at the fingertips of other Nomads?

You are very gracious. David posts lots of links -- he wants us to know all the info he can give us. We were waiting for nothing but it would not
surprise us to have David choose one of several thousand links for us so we could all know about your handle the way he sees it. After 7 years I'm
still surprised and amazed that he can help all of us so much in his area of knowledge and, from time to time, drive me (us) a little nutz by
hand-feeding us what, beyond irrigation and the missions, he just can't stand to not have us be well aware of.

Lucifer does not "mean" venus. "Lucifer" is a word indirectly taken from a latin word for venus. The words don't have same meaning. Not many
christians think Venus represents the devil (well, perhaps the american taliban type christians do). Venus is seductive, but is not evil.

Because I like and enjoy teaching/ sharing/ helping, and I learn more from doing so...
Perhaps it is good to just read what you want to. I would never want you to read things I post here that you don't want to read.
Often I am asked to post things for others or to help with a photo or post a map of an area... They all are not always my creation...
Do you not see other Nomads who post links to other's stories and photos off the Internet? Come on, this is an entertainment and information site and
it is great if friendships and help comes of it.
I posted the Quetzacuotl image and details as an honorable respect for a Nomad using the name, based on his after-death request and curiosity with
other Nomad's death plans.
Such a catchy name deserves some historical consideration. That is what I decided to provide. Did everyone know who Quetzacuoatl was or would bother
to search before I easily and freely put it here...? It is a forum/ message board... just scroll over stuff you don't want to see, but don't deny
others the pleasure they might gain from any Nomad's contribution.

the source is my infinite knowledge from high school latin and mythology! it was all hard copy books back in the pre-computer dark ages, no links!

Thanks Shari, that's how I feel too... When I see link instead of the stuff here in front of my eyes, I only click the link if it looks very
compelling... If it is posted here I do see it, and there's a better chance I will read it, too!
