Road to San Felipe/Hwy5

Got into San Felipe late yesterday night. Yahoo road is paved the entire way. Nice road no problems except.... As you are heading south near the gold mines there is about a 2-3 inch bump in the pavement. New versus old. At night I did not see it. Wow. Pay attention. I always come in the East gate at Mexicali, never had to wait. This trip it took 1 hour to get into Baja. A lot of it was rush hour traffic but there is a new island type thing being built just before the declare section. Just be warned. It should be finished soon but it will narrow it down. Must be getting ready to track us going in and out.

Txs for the update. Isn't that a great highway now? I dont miss the dips!

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Just pay attention at the gold mine area. If it would have been light out I would have seen it. The road is better than the roads in Cali coming down. Here for two weeks. Yahoo new buggy to play with.
