when you leave from Cabo, at check-in they will tell you to go to migration which used to be through a back door and get a slip that you give back at the check-in counter and you are on your way.

The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

Whoa---scratch all of the below. Don't know what I was thinking. I flew FRONTIER. Not Alaska.

Sorry

Did this Friday via Alaska.

Alaska check-in has NOT moved into the new terminal. Go to the counter in terminal 2 and check-in. They will then tell you to go to the new terminal all the way at the end of the main room and were the immigration office is (term 2 and the new terminal are connected so it's not too bad). Then back to the ticket counter for the boarding pass and back to the new terminal to the departure gate.

I don't know if this is going to be permanent procedure but when someone came to pick me up yesterday, they were not allowed to drive up to the arrivals area (apparently restricted to commercial transportation). They were directed to the paid parking lot and told to walk. huh, right, BS.

Tell whoever is picking you up to meet you on the departures level and walk up the stairs. They can pick up from there.
