Sunday morning in Loreto

78 degrees at daybreak in Loreto this morning. Low clouds over Carmen made for an impressive sunrise, although not as spectacular as yesterday.

There's still a lot of debris on the beach from the October storms.

Bill, I am guessing that those photos were taken from land because the fishing has been a little slow? Are you trading wahoo for sunrises this week? ;)

It is the wind outside and not slow fishing that accounts for the perspective of the photos. Although the water is cooling on the Ridge, there were still fish around last week. Now it looks like there will be wind offshore on both sides of the peninsula until Friday, or so.

Mood: I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I had the privilege to be on the water when these great pictures were taken.

Not to steal Bill's thunder of the pictures, we managed only 2 Yellowtail, around 15 lbs each, out by Coronado Island. The water must of dropped 10 degrees in the last 2 or 3 weeks.
