If I remember it right the CARNAVAL in LA PAZ is an annual event held six days before Ash Wednesday. The other popular celebration is the Fiesta de La
Paz which is held on May 3rd, or the anniversary of the founding of the city.
I think it was some time in late February when I went in 2003, and it was alot of fun and a real family event. It's not an animal show or roudy
partying, but good clean family fun with good party atmosphere.
I will go again. It is well organized and we did not experience any problems.

Well, Bruce, we don't have a year so we're trying the not so much better places. Which we sometimes prefer. More atmosphere, and contact with
others. We have several to try as we picked up info last year when in La Paz. Thanks anyway for the heads up.
JR, we will look for you down there. What do we look for? Annie.

But, depending on when you are heading south, I may be in Rosarito and you are most welcome to stop by.

JR, Those bamboo racks are pretty good. Unfortunately, we are flying down this year, then getting around by bus, ferry, or rented car, so, we can't
take you up on your offer. Maybe another year. We'll be on the lookout down there tho. Annie.
