splash too sunday brunch

I see the baja review has an ad for splash too's sunday brunch. 8 to 3 with unlimited champagne and beer! $12.95. I could do some damage there(and vice versa im sure).
I've eaten there and the food is exactly the same as the original splash, without the amazing view.
any rosarito area nomads tried this yet?:?:

Isn't serving alcohol before 10:00 AM illegal? I couldn't care less really. I'm just wondering how they can get away with advertising it.

It's illegal to SERVE before 10 but if there is a bottle just sitting out and the customer pours his self one without money being exchanged that's OK (I think). Lots of resorts put out vodka next to the OJ and Clamato.

Yeah......right. Tell it to the judge.
If there's any law on the books that gets more respect from the holder of a liquor license than the Ten AM Rule, I don't know what it is.
The cash registers in the newer stores won't even ring up alcohol until after Ten AM.
