Mexicali always wanted the 7 day turned in, I would
comply by merely hopping out of my vehicle while
crossing back, let the wife drive in line for 15 min., TJ would
be a different story on returing an fmm. I'm not sure
where I would begin to turn one in. I haven't been
down since the new crossing opened, from the pics
of driving in, there doesn't seem to be any ped
access, doesn't sound like it is ped friendly at the new crossing. I personally don't think it matters whether
you turn in a 7 day fmm or the 180 day fmm, I've always
done so though. I've NEVER heard of anyone being
questioned, scolded, fined for not turning in an fmm.
Anyone ever heard different? They sure seem to have
thier computer tracking of fmm's system operating
though
