Bahia San Francisquito?
The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

Punta Pescadero, red house on the ocean front bluff sits to the right just out of lens shot of this photo. Hotel Punta Pescadero is behind the
photographer and photo is taken toward Rancho Leonero.

Windgrrl guessed well and sd knows!
It was a stunning shot with coral sand for contrast.

Thanks for posting all your photos David! This one just happened to be where I spend most of my Baja time.

My pleasure.. anything to remind me of Baja... you are very fortunate!
You live in such a rich historic area... just earlier in that day we saw this:
WHO can say what this is and the name of this site???

Beautiful shot David, love that beach. Here's another one taken in the same direction but a bit north of yours:

Hi Jack, I know you were there too (didn't Jimmy Smith also take you the first time?). Didn't see the second horno last July but I think I did in
2001?

Nice!
The second pair of photos (horno and palms) is at the REAL DE SANTA ANA, California's oldest mining operation (silver), from the 1740's. The horno was
to make ingots of silver from the ore.
